Once an edition is sold out, the negative/file is retired and no more original prints are made, apart from book and folio publishing. Prints are signed, titled and numbered.
Large-scale prints are marked with a (•) following the title.
Print Process
Prints are hand made by Tony Hertz with an archival pigment process on heavy weight fine art exhibition fiber paper. My workflow is much the same as traditional darkroom printing. I use density, contrast and dodging and burning, often in great detail to make the print look as natural as possible so that it expresses what I see and feel.
